Australian Lemon Myrtle is the world's richest known natural source of 'citral'. Laboratory research has concluded the citral essential oils contained in Lemon Myrtle to be highly anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. It has an exquisite flavour and aroma described as a blend of lemongrass, lime and lemon. Lemon Myrtle is antiseptic, anti-viral, and also acts as a calmative.
